Our AI chat assistant is powered by Google Gemini and is designed to answer questions about AuthorityGate's platform, capabilities, and general AI-governance topics. Your chat messages are sent to Google's Gemini API for processing and are also stored in our database, along with your IP address and approximate country, to operate and improve the assistant and prevent abuse. The chat is intended for general inquiries - for sensitive or project-specific discussions, we recommend reaching out via our contact form or email at [email protected]. AuthorityGate Keystone is our AI validation platform - the validation layer for the enterprise. Every change, whether proposed by a human, a CI/CD pipeline, or an AI agent, passes through a configurable 8-gate validation pipeline with human-in-the-loop approval before it reaches production. Keystone validates changes, updates, and third-party software against your real environment rather than vendor defaults, delivering operational resilience and business continuity.

Agentic AI governance refers to the frameworks, policies, and technical controls that ensure autonomous AI systems operate safely within defined boundaries. As organizations deploy agentic AI that can take independent actions, governance becomes critical to prevent unintended consequences. AuthorityGate's AI architecture approach includes a configurable 8-gate validation pipeline that provides oversight at every stage of AI decision-making, balancing autonomy with human accountability.

Agentic AI systems operate autonomously, making decisions and taking actions without direct human intervention. Augmented AI, by contrast, enhances human decision-making by providing AI-generated insights while keeping a human in the loop for final decisions. AuthorityGate Keystone is built on the augmented model, ensuring that AI recommendations are always reviewed by a named, accountable human before affecting production systems.

Change Validation & the Keystone Platform

Change management answers 'is this change authorized?' - it governs approvals, tickets, and maintenance windows. Change validation answers the harder question, 'will this change actually be safe?' - it tests the change against your real environment before it executes, and keeps validating changes as they reach production. They are complementary: change management approves the change; change validation proves it. AuthorityGate Keystone performs that verification automatically through a configurable 8-gate pipeline, escalating only high-risk changes to a named human.

Enterprises prevent CrowdStrike-style outages by validating vendor updates against their own environment before and during rollout - integrity-checking the payload, scoring its risk, and behaviorally testing it in a production-mirroring environment - rather than trusting that a vendor update is safe everywhere. The 2024 CrowdStrike incident was not an attack; it was a trusted update that reached production unvalidated against real systems. The controls that catch this class of failure are integrity verification, behavioral testing against a known-good baseline, staggered rollout, and a tested rollback path ready before the change executes.

Operational resilience is the ability to keep the business running through change - uptime and correct behavior. Data resilience is the ability to keep data recoverable - backup, integrity, and restore. You need both: a perfect backup does not prevent an outage, and uptime does not help if the data is corrupted. Most organizations have invested heavily in data resilience and under-invested in operational resilience, which is why change-induced outages remain common. AuthorityGate Keystone focuses on operational resilience - validating the changes that keep systems running.

What stops it is a validation gate between the actor and production that treats the agent or pipeline as untrusted by default - verifying identity and scope, testing the change behavior in a production-mirroring environment, and requiring human approval for high-risk actions. Without that gate, an agent or pipeline inherits broad permissions and can deploy unreviewed at any hour. AuthorityGate Keystone applies the same validation gates to an autonomous agent that it applies to a human operator, at the speed the agent operates.

You validate third-party software against a known-good baseline captured for your own environment - your real configuration, dependencies, and behavior - instead of the vendor generic defaults, and you roll back the moment behavior deviates from that baseline. A vendor validates against its own lab, and 'works on the vendor bench' is not the same as 'proven good in your estate.' AuthorityGate Keystone captures your known-good baseline, compares new software behavior against it, and escalates or rolls back on deviation.
